The Basics
Is the Wedding Venue Available on the Date I Want?
The easiest and quickest way to find out is to call or email us info@bramptongrange.net don;t forget you'll need to check the date with either the Registar, your celebrant or your chosen church.
How Long Can I Provisionally Hold a Date For?
We are happy to hold a date for you for 7 days with no obligation.
How Many Guests Can You Accommodate in the Day and the Evening?
Maximum, up to 220 seated and 300 for a party.
Is the Venue Licensed for Civil Ceremonies?
Yes. Verona barn in licensed for up to 80 guests and Venice for up to 160, however only one wedding takes place in a day. We also have several beautiful areas for an outside ceremony too.
What Areas Will Be Available to Us?
You'll have exclusive use of the venue and if you book Brampton Grange House also exclusive use of that too. If you don't decide to book Brampton Grange House you will still have access to the front garden for your photos and drinks reception.
Is the Wedding Venue Available for Exclusive Hire?
Only available for exclusive use.
Who Will Be the Point of Contact in the Lead-Up to the Wedding?
In most cases whoever you meet for your venue visit will be your point of contact in the lead up to, and on your wedding day. We believe this allows us to develop a deeper understanding of how you'd like your wedding day and gives you a nicer relationship with us too.
Do You Have Recommended Suppliers or an In-House Caterer?
We do have an "in house" caterer but also permit external caterers. We also have a handy list of “recommended suppliers” who we regularly work with and trust, but we don't insist on you using only those companies.
Is There Enough Parking for All Our Guests?
We have around 100 car parking spots, some hidden and others more obvious. With such a pretty venue we didn't want a large car park to ruin the views. We also have someone on hand to greet your guests as they arrive and direct them where to park.
Can Guests Leave Their Cars Overnight?
As long as cars are picked up before 10am the next morning and aren't blocking any gates or pathways.
Corkage Policy?
Our standard venue hire includes the option to bring in your own drinks up until 6pm at no extra charge. This may not apply if the venue hire is discounted. After 6.30pm our bar will open and all drinks must be purchased from them.
The Ceremony
Are There Areas For Both of Us to Get Ready in the Morning?
If you dream of getting your hair and make-up done in the bridal suite you'll need to book Brampton Grange House or cottage 1 has a dressing room perfect to get ready in.
Which Rooms are Licensed for Civil Ceremonies?
Verona barn and Venice barn and 3 areas outside.
What is the Changeover Plan From Ceremony to Reception Room?
Depending on which barns you will be using you may not require a change over. If it is required then we ask guests to move to the beautiful Galleria and / or courtyard for around 30 - 40 minutes.
How Flexible are You With Timings of the Day?
It is tailored to your requirements, so very flexible.
Can You Play Music During the Ceremony?
Yes
Are There any Decor Restrictions?
Not many, in fact we have handy hooks and wires in place to allow you to add your decor easily, but please do check with us for specifics.
Is Confetti Allowed?
Only natural flower /petal confetti such as The Dried Petal Co..
The Wedding Breakfast
Do You Offer a Complimentary Menu Tasting Within the Catering Cost?
Of course you will want to try out the wedding breakfast and accompanying wines before the actual day, we offer a complimentary tasting with our silver, gold and platinum menus for two people. Extra guests can be added for a charge of £30.00pp
What Menu Options Do You Have and Do You Cater For Vegetarians?
We offer vegetarian dishes, gluten free, vegan and anything else as long as we know about it in advance. It’s vital that you let us know as soon as possible about any slightly unusual dietary requirements or allergies so that we can ensure we have appropriate options to offer your guests.
What Time is the Meal Served?
Timings for the day will be up to you, but we will happily give you a recommend plan for the day, simply ask us to help.
Are Crockery and Linen Included in the Price?
If using our in house caterers it is included.
What Size Tables Do You Have?
6ft round tables that seat 10 - 12 guests and a top table that can be "sweetheart" style (just for Bride and Groom) up to 10 guests.
Is There a Cake-Cutting Fee? Do You Provide Cake-Cutting Utensils?
We offer this complimentary.
The Evening Reception
What Evening Food Options Do You Offer?
The list is endless but Hog Roasts, BBQ's, Paella and Gourmet Burger bars are the most popular, or you can book your own catering / food trailer.
Can You Accommodate a Live Band or DJ? When Can They Set Up?
We advise they set up in advance whenever possible to avoid moving equipment around while guests are enjoying themselves. A band will also need around 30 minutes for a sound check.
What are Your Bar Prices?
Very friendly prices, similar to a pub not as expensive as a hotel.
Will Guests Be Able to Pay using Card or is it Cash Only?
Both.
Could We Plug an iPod into Your Sound System?
We have a sound system that you can plug into via an AUX cable. We recommend you test in advance.
What Time Will Our Evening Reception Need to Finish?
We advise you to ask guest to book taxis from midnight. The bar closes at 11.45pm and the venue closes strictly at 12.00am. Your DJ/band and any other companies will need to have left the premises by 12.45am otherwise a surcharge can apply.
Accommodation
Do You Have Accommodation On-Site?
Yes, Brampton Grange House can accommodate 15 guests. The cottages can accommodate two guests in each and we have three of them.
Do Guests Pay the Venue Directly for Accommodation or Do They Need to Pay Us?
Brampton Grange House will need to be booked by you and you can charge your guests to stay if you wish to. The cottages can be booked independently.
What Time Can Guests Check In on the Wedding Day and Check Out the Next Day?
The cottages are available from 3pm for check in and check out at 11am. if you've booked Brampton Grange House you can arrive from 9am the day of your wedding and depart by midday the day after. You can book Brampton Grange House for longer if you wish, perhaps extending the departure time to 4pm to enable you to enjoy the pool facility.

Do You Have Disabled Access?
Yes.
How Many Toilets are There?
At least 4 toilets per 100 guests is recommended and we have 4 cubicles for the ladies, 2 for the men and a disabled toilet / baby change.
Is There Somewhere We Can Securely Store Our Wedding Gifts?
Yes
Is the Venue Child-Friendly?
Yes. The Verona barn makes a perfect play room.
Is There a Smoking Area?

How Much Will the Initial Deposit be?
£1000 for the venue and / or £1000 for Brampton Grange House.
When Do We Need to Make Our Final Payment?
4 weeks prior to your wedding day.
Is VAT Included in the Prices Given to Us?
Yes
Are There Any Extra Charges For Staff/Cleaning/Room Hire that Aren’t Included in the Prices Given to Us?
We are very transparent with our pricing, so no hidden charges as everything is discussed in advance. Some to note:

Extra
Will the Venue Clear Everything Away After the Wedding or Will We Need to Organise This?
You should remove all cards/gifts at the end of the night. Decor may be left in the venue providing you are staying overnight at Brampton Grange. You must clear away your decor by 10.30am. General tidying and cleaning will be completed by Brampton Grange staff. If you are not staying at Brampton Grange overnight you will be asked to take all of your items.
