Covid-19 Update

We hope you are well.

Firstly it truly is an uncertain time that we find ourselves in and we hope you are all staying strong and keeping safe. This situation can't last forever and one day soon we will be able to hug our loved ones and celebrate together.

Secondly, we are thinking of everyone out there helping in the fight against the virus, our NHS Staff, Emergency Services, Care Workers and all of those still working to help us get through this terrible ordeal, saving lives whilst risking theirs. We will be eternally grateful.

Worried about Covid-19 affecting your wedding plans?

The reality is that there is likely going to be some impact especially if you are getting married this year.
We are in the process of working out how we can best manage some form of social distancing but as we write this the situaton is changing. From next week small social bubbles of up to 6 will be able to meet up and non essential shops can open from 15th June.  Which means it is looking very promising that the hospitality industry can re-open as planned from July.
Please note during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are still working but at a reduced capacity and at home. It may take a little longer than the usual 24 hours to answer your questions.

What does this mean for your wedding at Brampton Grange?

We wish we could give you a 100% definite answer but the reality is there are few guidelines as to what will be expected at wedding venues. Each and every venue is in the same situation, not fully sure when weddings can take place or whether there will need to be social distancing or limited guest numbers.

Currently we are looking at all the options available into making your wedding day as safe as possible in  ways that will affect your day in the least possible way.
We are fortunate that we are one of the largest exclusive use wedding venues in the whole of Northamptonshire. We have a great outdoor space, in fact we have lots of outdoor space! Which is great as they say being outside it's more difficult to catch / pass on this dreaded virus. Therefore we suggest you enjoy a long and leisurely drinks reception and photos in our stunning courtyard and gardens.
After your meal why not encourage your guests back outside. Try  booking a magician, a caricaturist, perhaps some gourmet ice- cream or coffees or even live music. Or get your DJ to put a speaker in the courtyard and start your evening celebrations while taking advantage of the gorgeous views over the Brampton Valley Way.

The Future of weddings

As and when government guidelines for gatherings come into place and we are confident that the plans we are drawing up will be suitable, we will update this page.
In the meantime we are sure with some thinking outside the box you can still have an amazing wedding day.
Please do contact us with any questions and don’t forget you can book a provisional date with us which will we hold until we can re-open for venue visits.
Simply email info@bramptongrange.net

Update from Northamptonshire Registrars:

At present the restrictions on hospitality remaining closed until at least the 1st of July means that any ceremonies booked at approved venues cannot take place until at least after this time.  With that in mind we will be contacting any couples that haven’t already postponed to advise them their ceremony cannot take place should it be booked before the 1st of July.
Northamptonshire Registrars aren't taking notice of marriage bookings at present as directed by our regulator the General Register Office (GRO) so any couples that haven’t given notice and have ceremonies booked for June will also be contacted to postpone their ceremonies.
We are still offering customers the opportunity to postpone their ceremonies for a new date with no admin charge.  The team are working hard to deal with all these bookings and arrange this for customers.
Customers can still submit new booking requests but these are understandably taking longer to action under the current circumstances.
